HISTORY: OVER 45 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE.

Reinhard Hassink and two employees take over Albert Verlemann's locksmith business in Recke, laying the foundations for the MBH story. He invested in the core competence of CNC sheet metal processing at an early stage.

The company grows rapidly and moves to Recke-Obersteinbeck. 35 employees produce sheet metal parts and welded assemblies on an area of 1,800 m².

A further 3,300 m² production facility is built in Ibbenbüren-Uffeln. One year later, the company changes its name to MBH Maschinen- und Stahlbau GmbH and employs 75 people. By investing in a modern paint shop and expanding the production area once again to 6,500 m², the company was able to significantly increase its capacity.

The company is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and documents the high quality level of its products, services and internal processes to the outside world.

The production area is expanded to 11,000 m² by 2002. In addition, the machinery was expanded and the team further enlarged. The clientele grew steadily, also beyond the region.

The generation change begins: Björn Hassink becomes Managing Director with equal rights alongside Reinhard Hassink on 01.01.2011. MBH now employs over 200 people.

40th anniversary: Reinhard Hassink hands over MBH to Björn Hassink, who manages the company together with Heike Hassink-Lah.

The construction of a new hall has increased the production area to a total of 24,000 m². The company now employs 240 people. New investments in machinery are constantly being made in order to optimize and expand production. There is a particular focus on the MBH culture, which places employees at the center and is continuously being developed.

SOCIALLY COMMITTED.

The MBH charity run has a good reputation in the region. At the 16th edition in 2023, 600 runners and mountain bikers steeled their fitness. All age groups were represented, from 6 to well over 60. There was also plenty of fun and enjoyment in the supporting program, which was put together by many hard-working helpers from the MBH team.

As professionals for steel-hard trades, we have decided to do a good deed for the weaker members of our society every year. This is why 1/3 of our donations go to the German Children’s Cancer Aid and, for the first time in 2023, 1/3 to hospices in the region.
